One of our instructors passed along this wisdom this past weekend. Michael and I studied and practiced massage techniques with some masters for THREE full days.  I will admit that my brain felt like mush by the end of that last class!   We are committed to always improving ourselves, always learning, and praying we can help others.   Since I met Michael back in 2015, I remember hearing him talk about how impressive Erik Dalton's work was in the massage realm.  May he rest in peace, sadly we didn't act soon enough to take any classes from him.  He was scheduled to be a keynote speaker at this massage conference, but instead, several tributes were given by his daughter and other instructors who studied with him and teach his work.     We had an 8 hour class in Treating Trapped Nerves and Reflex Spasm known as Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques with Tammy McCue.
We had a total of 24 hours of instruction and  learned techniques like tractioning, nerve flossing, fascia movement, assessment tips and importance, and were inspired to keep studying anatomy and thinking smarter about how to help people out of pain.  We learned some techniques specific to shoulders and hands, and some specific to feet, ankles, and calves.  I learned some awesome lower body active isolated stretching techniques along with some resistance techniques for those with hypermobile joints (my left ankle and general bendiness myself).
As wonderful as all these classes were, I left thinking how much every therapist and everyone else needs to know about Young Living's cool azul pain cream, our massage oils, our emotional oils, our Raindrop Technique, and how all the things we have in Young Living, truly are as Gary said, The MISSING LINK.   A fellow student asked the instructor after practicing one technique how long it would 'hold' and the answer shocked me.  He said maybe not even a day without the person doing exercises to strenghten the muscles allowing for the misalignment.  I thought in my head, 'gosh, he doesn't know about valor or aromasiez or copaiba or peppermint then.'   Our oils help with the emotional component to the issue at the same time they help with 'muscle memory' AND the desire of the person to take care of themselves.  So many times, I have wanted to do better myself because of using these oils.  'Oils rejoice the heart.'  When someone has had an injury or a chronic issue, they can get pretty depressed about all the costs involved, the time away from friends or family and/or work.  So, having a pain option that supports emotional health and can seriously speed up the healing process is super fantabulous!
I can remember being amazed at how quickly what should have or would have been a weeks long gooseegg on my grandbabies heads would just be gone sometimes overnight the swelling would disappear and color be normal within days.  I remember my kids gooseeggs when learning to crawl and walk and they'd get big and turn all the colors cause I didn't have valor or copaiba back then.  When my son was in martial arts, he had a number of 'accidents' that we would use a few raindrop oils and copaiba on and they would just be fine within a day or two.  We saved a lot of time, a lot of money, and spared him pain by using safe natural products (oils and prayer and nutrition).
Each therapist (and individual) could be working on their wellness and stamina with Ningxia Red, essentialzyme, multigreens, Super C, agilease, etc..   I am SO incredibly thankful that we can purchase safe, natural, effective oils and supplements that don't have potentially harmful ingredients.  One of the products one instructor was recommending at this event actually had a warning on it for anyone with kidney disease to not use it!   Yikes.  If you are using a product in your work that is absorbed into your body, you need to look up those ingredients.  Reach out and ask me if you need a safer way.   We can help so many people if each one teaches someone each month about endocrine-disrupting chemicals and ditching those to switch to safe products.
And if you have not had a Raindrop Technique yet, ask your sponsor or ME how to get one!!
Reach out to your local massage therapist and take your own Young Living massage oil with you and ask for a simple Swedish massage and introduce them to the magic of Young Living.  Everyone should get a regular massage and a regular Raindrop just for health maintenance.   And if you are a bodyworker, chiro, LMT, PT, and get a chance to take one of James Wasleski's classes, you will not regret it!!
